Runway Relay operates as a managed wardrobe rental platform coordinating circulation between wardrobe owners and renters.
While the platform performs screening and inspection procedures, authenticity responsibility ultimately remains with the wardrobe supplier who listed the item.
If a supplier is found to have listed a non-authentic item:

Protecting platform integrity is a priority.
Authenticity and quality checks may occur:
Runway Relay may request documentation from suppliers when necessary.
a. Where Runway Relay's internal review confirms, following a customer report or inspection, that a garment rented through the platform is non-authentic, counterfeit, or materially misrepresented by the listing supplier, the affected customer will be entitled to: (a) a full refund of the rental fee paid for that order; (b) a full refund of any security deposit paid; and (c) complimentary return logistics coordinated by Runway Relay at no cost to the customer.
b. Where an authenticity concern is reported and is under review, Runway Relay may temporarily suspend the relevant garment listing and, where appropriate, pause the rental in progress. Runway Relay will communicate the outcome of the review to the customer within five (5) business days of the report being received.
c. Where a customer receives a garment and has reasonable grounds to believe it may be non-authentic, the customer should not wear the garment and must contact Runway Relay Support immediately at hello@runwayrelay.net. Wearing a garment that the customer knows or suspects to be non-authentic may affect the customer's eligibility for a full refund.
a. The listing or supply of counterfeit, non-authentic, or misrepresented goods may constitute a violation of applicable UAE intellectual property and consumer protection laws. Runway Relay takes all such violations seriously.
b. Where Runway Relay has reasonable grounds to believe that a supplier has intentionally listed a counterfeit or non-authentic item, Runway Relay reserves the right to refer the matter to the relevant UAE authorities without prior notice to the supplier. This right is exercised at Runway Relay's sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law.
c. Runway Relay's Authenticity Policy forms part of its broader commitment to compliance with applicable UAE intellectual property and consumer protection laws. Customers who believe their consumer rights have been violated may contact the UAE Consumer Protection Department directly.
Runway Relay may update this policy periodically to reflect improvements in verification procedures and platform safeguards.
