Welcome to Runway Relay. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Runway Relay website, platform, and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.
The following policies, as may be updated from time to time, are incorporated into and form an integral part of these Terms & Conditions by reference:
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and any incorporated policy, the specific policy governing the relevant subject matter shall prevail to the extent of such conflict. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of all such policies as amended from time to time.
Runway Relay is a fashion rental platform that enables users to rent curated garments from designer, influencer, and partner wardrobes. Runway Relay manages listing presentation, logistics coordination, cleaning, delivery handling, and platform operations.
Runway Relay does not transfer ownership of items to renters.
To use Runway Relay, you must:
Runway Relay reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.

Runway Relay may suspend accounts suspected of misuse.
Runway Relay provides temporary garment rental services. All items remain the property of their respective owners.
Rental periods begin on the confirmed delivery date and end on the scheduled return date.
Late returns may result in additional charges.
By placing an order, you agree to:
Runway Relay reserves the right to charge payment methods on file for outstanding balances.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Security Deposit does not constitute an advance payment, partial purchase price, or consideration toward the sale of any item, and does not grant the customer any ownership or proprietary rights in the garment. Runway Relay reserves the right to deduct from the Security Deposit any amounts reasonably required to cover the above-mentioned costs. Any unused portion of the Security Deposit shall be refunded in accordance with the platform’s applicable refund timelines.
Runway Relay coordinates delivery and return logistics through its approved courier partners.
Users agree to:
Failure to return items on time may result in late fees.
If an item is returned after the agreed rental period:
Runway Relay may charge additional daily rental fees until the item is returned.
Accounts with repeated late returns may be restricted.
Normal wear is expected and covered.
However, users are responsible for:
Repair or replacement costs may apply depending on the severity of damage.
If an item is not returned:
Runway Relay reserves the right to charge the replacement value of the garment.
Failure to return items may result in account suspension.
All garments are professionally cleaned by Runway Relay after each rental.
Users must not attempt to wash, dry clean, or alter garments unless instructed by Runway Relay.
Runway Relay works with verified suppliers, designers, and wardrobe partners.
While the platform performs quality checks, item ownership authenticity remains the responsibility of the supplier.
Runway Relay reserves the right to remove items suspected of authenticity concerns.
Runway Relay operates as a managed rental platform coordinating garment circulation between owners and renters.

a. Runway Relay shall not be liable for:
b. Courier and logistics services are performed by independent third-party service providers. Runway Relay facilitates and coordinates delivery through such providers but does not operate as a carrier and shall not be responsible for any delay, loss, damage, or failure in delivery attributable to such third parties beyond Runway Relay’s reasonable operational control.
c. Runway Relay’s liability to users in connection with the platform, rental services, and logistics coordination is limited to direct and proven losses arising solely from Runway Relay’s own acts or omissions in the performance of its obligations.
d. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UAE law, Runway Relay’s total liability in respect of any single rental transaction or series of related transactions shall not exceed the total rental fee paid by the user for that transaction.
e. Runway Relay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, including but not limited to loss of use of a garment for a specific event, loss of opportunity, reputational harm, or any economic loss not directly caused by Runway Relay’s breach, except where such loss results from Runway Relay’s gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.
f. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
g. Runway Relay does not warrant the authenticity or ownership of garments listed by suppliers. Responsibility for authenticity remains with the listing supplier. In cases of non-authentic items, Runway Relay’s responsibility is limited to facilitating return and processing a refund of the rental fee paid.

Runway Relay shall not be liable for delivery delays or failures caused by third-party courier partners, force majeure events, incorrect customer-provided information, or customer unavailability, provided that Runway Relay has taken reasonable steps to coordinate delivery in accordance with its Delivery Policy.
Runway Relay reserves the right to suspend accounts that:

Continued use of the platform confirms acceptance of updated Terms.
a. Where Runway Relay makes material changes to these Terms & Conditions — including changes to fees, liability provisions, or dispute resolution procedures — users will be notified by email or in-platform notification at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect.
b. If a user does not accept the updated Terms, they may close their account before the effective date. Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
c. Changes of a non-material nature, such as corrections of typographical errors, clarifications that do not alter user rights, or updates to contact details may take effect immediately upon publication without prior notice.
a. Runway Relay services are not available to individuals or entities that are: (a) subject to international or UAE sanctions; (b) listed on any UAE, UN, OFAC, EU, or UK sanctions list; or (c) otherwise prohibited from accessing the platform under applicable UAE anti-money laundering or counter-terrorism financing regulations.
b. By accessing or using the platform, users represent and warrant that they are not a Prohibited Person and are not acting on behalf of a Prohibited Person.
c. Runway Relay reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate access where it has reasonable grounds to believe a user may be a Prohibited Person, without liability to that user.
a. While garments are in the custody of Runway Relay for the purposes of storage, photography, cleaning, handling, or any related activities between rental cycles, Runway Relay shall exercise reasonable professional care consistent with industry standards.
b. However, Runway Relay shall not be deemed an insurer of any garments and shall not assume liability for loss, damage, or deterioration except to the extent caused by its proven negligence or wilful misconduct.
c. Unless expressly covered under any applicable platform insurance arrangement or separately agreed in writing with the supplier, all garments remain at the supplier’s risk during such custody.
a. Runway Relay reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to suspend or remove listings, delay or withhold payouts, restrict or terminate accounts, cancel bookings, or limit platform access where necessary for operational integrity, platform security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms and related policies.
b. Runway Relay may take such actions with or without prior notice where reasonably required to mitigate risk or comply with legal obligations.
a. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved through Courts of Dubai, UAE.
b. Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from lodging a complaint with the UAE Consumer Protection Department (Ministry of Economy) or the relevant consumer protection authority in the Emirate of Dubai. Runway Relay will cooperate fully with any such regulatory process.
c. Before commencing formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through direct communication within fourteen (14) days of written notice of the dispute being received.
